Sometimes, it does take a village

By

Coordinated by the Federated Church in Kingfisher and spearheaded by church members Fred and Elise Morrow, volunteers from throughout the community and beyond are coming together to construct a new house for local residents Pete and Connie Scott, whose deteriorating home has been condemned by the city of Kingfisher. Several contractors are donating time or materials or both and squads of volunteers are working most Saturdays to complete the tiny house, which Fred Morrow designed. Watch for a complete story when the project is finished. In the meantime, anyone interested in donating toward the project can do so by sending a check made out to the Federated Church, with “Scott House” in the memo line, to 400 W. Fay Ave., Kingfisher.
