Study Club gets update from chamber director, approves officers
Kingfisher Study Club met Tuesday, March 2, at the First United Methodist Church.

The featured “woman in leadership” and guest presenter was Shauna Rupp, executive director of the Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce.
Rupp elaborated on the benefits of local chamber membership and introduced the club to a few of the newest members of Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce.
She also apprised club members of the annual banquet and the changes implemented due to COVID.
A list of future chamber events was provided, including the planned reinstatement of the Easter egg hunt and the Independence Day celebration.
After Rupp’s presentation, the members discussed plans for the upcoming Senior Girls Tea, scheduled for May 12.
The slate of officers for next year were approved.
Officers for 2021-2022 will be: Gerry Plummer, president; Terri Peck, vice president; Donna Lann, treasurer; and Dawn Ann Mendenhall, secretary
The next meeting will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, at the United Methodist Church.
The guest speaker will be Debbie Burpo.
