ON TARGET TO PLAY 2019-20 BASKETBALL – After a Hennessey school board noon meeting last Wednesday, members donned construction helmets and headed across the street. That’s where they went to the second floor of the $8.4 million construction site of The Dome. Pictured left is a photo of the structure from outside the construction site. It will include a safe room, basketball/volleyball courts and coaches’ offices, seating for more than 1,700 plus administration offices. Supt. Dr. Mike Woods said, “We’re on target to play the 2019-20 basketball season in The Dome. Also, most of the rough-in work is complete, and the detail work is beginning.”
