Taylor, Cason discuss Training Room with Lions Club

Kevin Taylor, right, certified athletic trainer who currently operates The Training Room, was the guest speaker of the Kingfisher Lions Club recently. The Training Room is located inside The Athletic Loft in Kingfisher. Taylor is pictured with his business partner Terrance Cason, left, and Kingfisher Lions Club member Tim Abercrombie, center. Taylor and his wife Beth reside in Kingfisher with their four children, who are enrolled and active in the Kingfisher Public School system. Taylor played football in college at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva with Kingfisher High School football coach Jeff Myers. After Taylor and Cason sold their physical therapy practice, which included several locations throughout the state, the Taylors enrolled their children in Kingfisher schools and continued to reside in Piedmont before purchasing a home in the Kingfisher school district two years ago. Taylor said he and Cason sold their practice in part because they were frustrated with increasingly more complicated government and insurance interference in health care. “We decided to sell and now I practice as a trainer and put all the hassle of the federal government and insurance-related problems that go with it behind us,” Taylor said.
