Theta Tau honors 2 KHS seniors at February meeting

Theta Tau, Epsilon Sigma Alpha, social was held Feb. 25 at The Stack for members, spouses and guests at 6 p.m.

Two outstanding Kingfisher seniors, Sophie Trout and Jesse Boutwell, were honored with a monetary donation.

Trout said her future plans were to attend college and become a museum curator. She is the daughter of Charles and Jessie Trout and the granddaughter of Debi Trout.

Boutwell has been accepted to the University of Oklahoma and plans to pursue a major in business. He is the son of Dana Boutwell and the late Donovan Boutwell and the grandson of LaVenia Boutwell and nephew of Madell Henderson.

Ramona Paine and Terri Peck were surprised with gifts from their secret sisters.

The members will be making cinnamon rolls in March as another of their fundraising projects. Members are now taking orders and baking will take place the last week of March.

The following members, spouses and guests attended the social, which included food and fellowship: Henderson, Bout-well, Dana Terrell, Donna McPherson, Trout, Cynthia and Jim Eaton, Terri and Lloyd Peck, Karen and Tom Edgar, Stormy Simmons, Misty Blundell, Cathy and Doc Holsted, Ramona and Rod Means and special guests, Sophie Trout and Jesse Boutwell.

The next meeting will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, at the First Christian Church Fellowship Hall.
