Three school board votes set for April
School board races developed in three county school districts after last week’s filing period, while candidates in three other districts will be seated without opposition.
Kingfisher, Cashion and Dover school district patrons will go to the polls April 6 to elect board members. Candidates filing in those districts include:
Kingfisher - Mike Copeland, incumbent; Terry Payne.
Cashion - Chuck Kordis; Christopher Gibson.
Dover - Casey Gene Wilkerson; Pearl Kale.
Only one candidate filed in each of the three other county school districts:
Marche - Jarrod J. Mueggenborg.
Lomega - Terry Marks of Omega.
Hennessey - David Tillman.
Incumbent Debbie Biehler of Omega also will be seated without opposition to a new term on the Chisholm Trail Technology Center board.
Some county voters who reside within the boundaries of public school districts in adjacent counties also face April 6 elections for these districts:
Cimarron - Gaylon Brakhage; Cassie Coker-Paden, both of Lahoma.
Crescent - Christopher Channel; Mark Garrett
Piedmont - Zachary Myatt; Layne Jones.
Candidates who will be seated without opposition in other districts that extend into Kingfisher County include:
Okeene - Garen Robison.
Drummond - Curtis Clyde Mack.
Autry Technology Center - Carmen Ball of Enid.
Francis Tuttle Technology Center - Kurt Loeffelholz of Oklahoma City.
Canadian Valley Technology Center - Dennis Crawford of Alex.
