The following traffic accident is being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

March 11, 8:50 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and East Starlite Drive.

Joel Dettweiler, 61, Kingfisher, driving a 2015 Honda CRV, was westbound on East Starlite Drive and stopped at the intersection of U.S. 81.

Barry Haynie, 63, Kingfisher, driving a 2016 Chevrolet Suburban, was west-bound on East Starlite Drive and stopped behind the Dettweiler vehicle at the traffic light.

According to the report, the Dettweiler vehicle began to reverse because of other traffic and struck the Haynie vehicle.

Functional damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.
