The following traffic accident is being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

March 25, 7:35 p.m. - At South 10th Street and West Fay Avenue.

Alexus Cruz, 21, Kingfisher, driving a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox, was parked northbound along the curb of South 10th Street near the intersection of West Fay Avenue.

Officer Dillon Chaloupek responded to a report of damage to the Cruz vehicle.

According to the report, Chaloupek observed a large dent in the driver’s side rear door and maroon paint transfer at the point of impact.

Cruz reportedly stated the incident occurred in a one-hour window from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Chaloupek said in his report that he questioned the neighbors regarding the incident and was informed a maroon vehicle had been there during the timeframe.

David Reyes, 54, Thomas, driving a 2015 Ford F150, returned to the scene and Chaloupek observed damage on the passenger rear bumper consistent with damage to the Cruz vehicle, according to the report.

Functional damage was reported to the Cruz vehicle and minor damage to the Reyes vehicle. No injuries were reported.
