The following traffic accident is being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

April 22, 3:20 p.m. - At 13th Street and S.H. 33. Melissa Calamateo, 38, Kingfisher, driving a 2021 GMC Yukon, was northbound in the inside lane of South 13th Street and stopped at the intersection of S.H. 33.

Saul Castanon, 25, Watonga, driving a 2020 Ford F350, was westbound on S.H. 33 near the intersection of 13th Street.

According to the report, the Calamateo vehicle attempted to proceed northbound across S.H. 33 and was struck by the Castanon vehicle in the rear passenger side.

Disabling damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.
