The following traffic accident is being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

November 4, 4:35 p.m. At West Overstreet Avenue and Ridge Crest Drive. A 16-year-old driver, Hennessey, driving a 2002 Dodge, was eastbound on West Overstreet Avenue.

Edward Thiems, 64, Kingfisher, driving a 2019 Ford F150, was eastbound on West Overstreet Avenue.

According to the report, the 16-year-old’s vehicle stopped in the street after missing a turn on Ridgecrest Drive and then backed into the Thiems vehicle, which had also come to a stop in the street.

No damage was reported to the 16-year-old’s vehicle and minor damage to the Thiems vehicle.

No injuries were reported.
