Traffic accidents
The following traffi c accidents are being investigated by the Kingfi sher Police Department:
December 4, 12:05 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and S.H.
33. Robert Winter, 67, Enid, driving a 2012 Ford, was southbound on U.S. 81 and stopped at the stoplight of U.S. 81/S.H. 33 intersection. Stephanie Butler, 45, Piedmont, driving a 2004 Acura, was southbound on U.S. 81 and stopped directly behind the Winter vehicle.
According to the report, the Butler vehicle moved forward and struck the Winter vehicle. Minor damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported. Officer Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident.
December 5, 7:45 a.m. - At 113 N. 5th St. Jason Morton, Kingfi sher, parked a 2003 Cadillac Escalade northbound on North 5th Street. Laci Hudson, 32, Kingfisher, driving a 2008 Chrysler, was backing out of a driveway on North 5th Street and struck the Morton vehicle. Minor damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported. Officer Dustin Brodrick investigated the accident.
December 5, 9:15 p.m.
- At 13th Street and S.H.
33. Michael Stough, 48, Loyal, driving a 1987 Mack, was southbound on North 13th Street and stopped at the intersection of S.H.
33. Charles Wilson, 59, El Reno, driving a 2012 Ken-worth, was eastbound on S.H. 33 approaching the 13th Street intersection. Pamela Pappe, 60, driving a 2014 Jeep Laredo, was northbound on South 13th Street and stopped at the intersection of S.H. 33.
The Stough vehicle proceeded northbound into the intersection and failed to yield to the Wilson vehicle, striking its front driver’s side. The Wilson vehicle then struck the Pappe vehicle.
Disabling damage was reported to the Pappe and Wilson vehicles and functional damage to the Stough vehicle. Wilson sustained possible arm injuries. Offi - cer Ryan Gibson investigated the accident.
December 7, 11:17 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and Toronto Avenue. Brandy Smith, 44, Kingfisher, driving a 2014 Lexus, was exiting the south parking area of F&M bank onto westbound Toronto Avenue near the stop sign of U.S. 81/Toronto intersection. Raymond Fee Jr., 44, Watonga, driving a 2018 Peterbilt, was turning left onto eastbound Toronto Avenue from southbound U.S. 81.
According to the report, impact occurred between the two vehicles near the stop sign of East Toronto Avenue and U.S. 81 intersection. The drivers gave conflicting reports of the incident, according to the report.
Office Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident and reviewed video surveillance from F&M Bank which showed a partial view of the accident.
According to the report, Schlegel stated it appeared Smith had not completely turned out of F&M Bank onto westbound Toronto Avenue, failing to yield from a private drive, but that Fee had made an improper left turn in which his trailer crossed into the westbound lane of East Toronto Avenue. Schlegel also stated in his report that he informed Fee that semi-trucks are not allowed on city streets.
Minor damage was reported to the front driver’s fog light of the Smith vehicle and minor damage to the ladder on Fee’s trailer. No injuries were reported.
December 9, 8:10 a.m.
- At 101 S. Main St. Denise Owen, 61, Kingfi sher, driving a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, was backing out of a parking place and struck the rear of an adjacently parked 2013 Ford F350, driven by Kent Conover, 57, Kingfisher. Minor damage was reported to the Owen vehicle and no damage to the Conover vehicle. No injuries were reported. Offi cer Travis Gray investigated the accident.
