The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

January 8, 8:45 p.m.

- At U.S. 81 and Miles Avenue. Wayne John, 47, Albuquerque, N.M., driving a 2014 Western Star semitruck, was stopped at the U.S. 81/S.H. 33 stoplight in the outside southbound lane of U.S. 81 near Miles Avenue. Brandi Weeres, 40, Okarche, driving a 2012 Jeep Liberty, was stopped directly behind the Johns vehicle. Weeres reportedly stated her foot slipped off the brake pedal and her vehicle then struck the rear of the John vehicle.

No injuries were reported. Minor damage was reported to the Weeres vehicle and no damage to the John vehicle. Officer Charles Trout investigated the accident.

January 23, 8:00 a.m.

- At Mitchell Drive and Mitchell Boulevard. Britany Mallory, 26, Kingfisher, driving a 2004 Jeep Cherokee, was westbound on Mitchell Boulevard approaching the intersection of Mitchell Drive. Charles Stocksill, 36, Edmond, driving a Chevrolet Suburban, was southbound on Mitchell Drive and attempting to turn eastbound onto Mitchell Boulevard.

The Stocksill vehicle entered the westbound lane of Mitchell Boulevard while turning left into the eastbound lane and struck the Mallory vehicle.

Functional damage was reported to the Stocksill vehicle and disabling damage to the Mallory vehicle. No injuries were reported. Officer Travis Gray investigated the accident.

January 24, 4:55 p.m.

- At 200 W. Starlite Drive. Nancy Thornton, 63, Loyal, driving a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, was eastbound in the Walmart parking lot and attempted to make a u-turn going westbound. Khali Littlehawk, Kingfisher, driving a 2016 Jeep Wrangler, was westbound in the Walmart parking lot. The two vehicles collided as the Thornton vehicle attempted to make the u-turn.

Minor damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported. Officer Dillon Chaloupek investigated the accident.
