Traffic accidents
The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:
February 7, 12 p.m. - At 13th Street and Werner Avenue. Ryan Crow, 18, Kingfisher, driving a 2005 Ford F-150, was northbound in the inside lane of South 13th Street near Werner Avenue. A 17-year-old female, Kingfisher, driving a 2010 Acura, attempted to enter South 13th Street from a private drive at Kingfisher High School. The 17-yearold female’s vehicle failed to yield to the Crow vehicle and struck the driver’s side door of the Crow vehicle. Minor damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported. Officer Dustin Brodrick investigated the accident.
February 10 - At 106 W. Miles Ave. James Nelson, 46, Dover, driving a 2019 Chevrolet, was parked in a parking space. Jessica Conner, 32, Kingfisher, driving a 2018 Dodge Journey, was parked adjacent to the Nelson vehicle. The Conner vehicle attempted to back from the parking space and struck the rear driver’s side of the Nelson vehicle. Functional damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported. Officer Jason East investigated the accident.
February 12, 12 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and S.H. 33. A 2020 Chevrolet Silverado, owned by Jacksons of Kingfisher, was parked in a parallel parking space on the west side of U.S. 81 near Snider’s Catering, 102 N. Main St. Richard Kraft, 30, Kingfisher, driving a 2007 Ford F-150, was also parked on the west side of U.S. 81 near Snider’s Catering. Michael Terry, 59, Mc-Loud, driving a 2019 Peterbilt semi-truck, was southbound on U.S. 81. The Terry vehicle’s trailer struck the mirrors of the Jacksons and Terry vehicles. A witness took photos of the Terry vehicle and provided them to Officer Travis Gray for his investigation. Gray contacted Van Eaton Ready Mix, owners of the Terry vehicle, regarding the accident and the company safety director provided the requested information to the officer. Functional damage was reported to the Jacksons and Kraft vehicle. No damage was reported to the Terry vehicle. No injuries were reported.
February 15, 4:48 p.m. - At 1301 S. Main St. Alexis Pace, 23, Kingfisher, driving a 2005 Honda Odyssey, was westbound on the service road between Heritage Pharmacy and O’Reilly Auto Parts, near the U.S. 81 intersection. John Doll, 25, Wakefield, Kan., driving a 2008 Ford F-350, turned eastbound onto the service road from southbound U.S. 81 and struck the Pace vehicle. Minor damage was reported to the Doll vehicle and disabling damage to the Pace vehicle. Officer Dillon Chaloupek investigated the accident.
