The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

March 17, 4:04 p.m. - At Locust Avenue and Seventh Street.

Janice Lawrence, 76, Kingfisher, driving a 2010 Mercury, was westbound on Locust Avenue. Maria Ponce-Perez, 44, Kingfisher, driving a 2010 Toyota, was southbound on Seventh Street. The Lawrence vehicle failed to yield at the intersection and struck the Ponce-Perez vehicle.

Functional damage was reported to the Lawrence vehicle and disabling damage to the Ponce-Perez vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Officer Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident.

March 22, 9:45 a.m. - At 200 W. Starlite Drive. Tammy Baxter, 48, Kingfisher, driving a 2016 Jeep Renegade, was backing out of a parking space in the Walmart parking lot and struck a light pole.

Disabling damage was reported to the Baxter vehicle and no visible damage to the light pole. No injuries were reported.

Officer Aaron Schlegel investigated the accident.

March 22, 1:10 p.m. - At 200 W. Starlite Drive. Edward Cloyd, 48, Elk City, driving a 2013 Chevrolet, was parked in a parking space in the Walmart parking lot.

Diane Thompson, 50, Kingfisher, driving a 2014 Toyota, was parked in a parking space to the right of the Cloyd vehicle.

The Cloyd vehicle attempted to back out of the parking space and struck the Thompson vehicle.

Minor damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.
