The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

June 15, 8:00 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and S.H. 33. Alexis Perez Navarro, 19, Kingfisher, driving a 2019 Ford Mustang, was traveling through the construction zone at the intersection of U.S. 81 and S.H. 33.

Chad Etenburn, 38, Foster, was operating a 2008 Volvo trackhoe in the construction zone.

Navarro reportedly stated a rock had fallen from the trackhoe bucket and struck his vehicle.

Etenburn stated that the trackhoe was not in motion as the Navarro vehicle passed and no debris was witnessed on the roadway, according to the report.

Minor damage was reported to the Navarro vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Officer Travis Gray investigated the accident.

June 26, 11:30 a.m. - At Benjamin Drive and 17th Street. Amber Demackiewicz, 48, Kingfisher, driving a 2003 Volkswagen, was backing out of the driveway at 1104 Benjamin Drive.

Steve Neuman, 49, Kingfisher, owner of a parked trailer and riding mower on Benjamin Drive.

According to the report, an individual witnessed the Demackiewicz vehicle strike the mower, the driver exit the vehicle to examine the damage and leave the scene.

Officer Dustin Brodrick investigated the accident and contacted the suspect regarding the incident.

Demackiewicz reportedly admitted to striking the mower and stated she attempted to make contact with the property owner’s son, but was waved on and she left the area. Demackiewicz also reported the mower was located in front of the driveway and she was unable to see it when backing out, according to the report.

Neuman reported approximately $275 damage to a shield on the mower and possible engine damage, the report said. Damage to the Demackiewicz vehicle was unknown.
