The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

July 26, 11:45 a.m. - At U.S. 81 and S.H. 33. Adrianna Silvia Garcia, 19, Kingfisher, driving a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, was southbound in the outside lane of U.S. 81 and stopped at the traffic light of S.H. 33 intersection. Mackenzie Whitehead, 25, Norman, driving a 2020 Kia, was southbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81. The Whitehead vehicle attempted to merge into the outside lane of U.S. 81 and struck the back driver’s side of the Garcia vehicle. Disabling damage was reported to the Whitehead vehicle and functional damage to the Garcia vehicle. No injuries were reported. Officer Matthew Hollon investigated the accident.
