The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department:

May 8, 3 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and West Miles Avenue. Jamae Frey, 55, Kingfisher, driving a 2018 Dodge, was northbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81 and stopped at the intersection of West Miles Avenue while waiting to make a left turn.

Kyler Gardner, 18, Loyal, driving a 2006 Toyota Tacoma, was northbound on U.S. 81 behind the Frey vehicle.

According to the report, the Gardner vehicle failed to stop behind the Frey vehicle and struck it in the rear.

Gardner was issued a citation for driving with a suspended license, the report said.

Minor damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries were reported.

Officer Ryan Gibson investigated the accident.

May 7, 4 p.m. - At 1213 S. Main St. Cheryl Lawrence, 35, Okarche, driving a 2008 Ford Expedition, was parked in the Atwoods parking lot.

According to the report, Lawrence said when she returned to her vehicle she noticed damage to the rear driver’s side door.

Officer Tyler Girten investigated the accident.
