The following traffic accidents are being investigated by the Kingfisher Police Department.

August 30, 5:00 p.m. - At U.S. 81 and Locust Avenue. A 16-year-old male, Enid, driving a 2002 Chrysler, was traveling northbound in the inside lane of U.S. 81 and struck the rear of a northbound 2008 Mazda driven by Derek Portillo, 22, Guymon, when the Portillo vehicle came to a halt to allow a vehicle directly in front of it to make a left turn. Minor damage was reported to both vehicles.

September 3, 4:05 p.m. - U.S. 81 and S.H. 33. Betty Kennedy, 70, Cashion, driving a 2015 Chevrolet, was stopped in the westbound lane at the stoplight of U.S. 81/S.H. 33 junction when a 2013 Chevrolet, driven by Isaiah Forbes, 29, Waukomis, attempted to back out of a northbound parking space and struck the Kennedy vehicle. No damage was reported to the Forbes vehicle and functional damage was reported to the Kennedy vehicle.

September 8, 12:59 a.m. - At South 13th Street and West Elks Avenue. Jenny Laudwig, 41, Kingfisher, driving a 2016 Ford, was southbound on South 13th Street and left the roadway to the right, striking a school zone sign, then returned to the roadway and came to a stop at the entrance to the fairgrounds. Disabling damage was reported to the vehicle.
