The University of Central Oklahoma recently announced the students named to the university’s honor rolls, a distinction given to those who achieve the highest academic standards.

For the fa112020 semester, 1,599 students were named to the President’s Honor Roll, an honor achieved by those who recorded a “straight-A” or 4.0 GPA.

In addition, 1,800 students were named to the Dean’s Honor Roll, a list of those who achieved a 3.5 GPA or better for the semester and no grade lower than a B.

To be eligible for the President’s or Dean’s lists, students must complete at least 12 hours of on-campus class credit for the semester.

Area students listed on honor rolls include:

Cashion: Reagan Nicole Chamberlain, president’s; and Ashten Paige Evans, Jack Roland Suntken and Emily Grace West, dean’s.

Crescent: Alexys Ann Herren and Erika Brooke Jenkins, president’s; and Haley Renee Adams, Taryn Rene Heiden and Trista Wilmot, dean’s.

Dover: Yasmin Aurelia Hernandez, dean’s.

Hennessey: Claire Elise Ullery, president’s; Mariana Gonzalez and Michelle Romero, dean’s.

Kingfisher: Brenda Jimenez and Osbaldo Lupercio, president’s; Aubrey Nicole Evans, Silvia Adrianna Garcia, Veronica Olivares, Wendy Orozco Vega, Christian Ryan Payne, Sophia Rheign Trout and Jordan Kay Waltman, dean’s.
