The University of Central Oklahoma College of Education and Professional Studies recently awarded Kingfisher resident Isaac Waltman several scholarships for the upcoming fall and spring semesters in recognition of his academic achievements and outstanding service to the university.

Waltman, a senior majoring in physical education/health, received the Homer Coker Scholarship, the Dr. Joan E. Bottger Scholarship for Kinesiology and the Muriel A. Herbrand Scholarship.”

Our students work hard to achieve a high level of academic and professional success during their time at Central and it is important that we are able to honor their achievements,” said Donna Cobb, Ed.D., dean of the UCO College of Education and Professional Studies.

“We are grateful to our many generous alumni and friends of the college who make it possible for us to honor our students with scholarship awards to assist in completing their education.”

Waltman is a 2017 graduate of Kingfisher High School.
