President Barbara Fisher called the March meeting of the Kingfisher United Methodist Women to order and opened it by leading the group in reading the Pledge to Missions statement. Eleven members were present.

Devotion was provided by Dorothy Whitaker based on Jeremiah 12: “God’s plan for us is good even when it incudes challenges and struggles.”

Jneanne Kadavy gave the Response magazine message about three early foremothers of the UMW and how they served in their day. She included a poem that described what UMW embodies.
