Justin Maddox, left, market leader for BlackRock Investments in Oklahoma, Kansas and Northwest Arkansas, was the guest speaker of the Kingfisher Rotary Club last Tuesday. Maddox, who is a long time friend of Edward Jones Investments adviser Derek Daugherty, right, told Rotarians and guests that his estimation was 2019 would be a more investment-friendly market than was 2018, and perhaps as good as 2017. He said there are many uncertainties in the American market, the biggest of which is the political climate regarding the upcoming 2020 national elections.  He said BlackRock was heavily invested globally, which hedges against such uncertainties in the national markets. Maddox resides in Tulsa, was raised in Michigan, and is a graduate of DePaul University.
