Dan Schiedel, executive director of the Enid and Northwest Oklahoma United Way, center, was the guest speaker of the Kingfisher Rotary Club last week. Pictured with Rotarians Casey Jackson and Bev Lippoldt, Schiedel told club members and guests that United Way provided a safety net for area people in need while working to create lasting positive changes in their lives regarding education, health and financial stability. He encouraged Kingfisher residents to call his office if they know of families and individuals who might benefit from services United Way offers. Schiedel also asked for businesses and individuals willing to contribute financial support to also contact his office.
