Vandals steal Trump, police support flags
Seth Marshall, who lives in the Wildwood Addition, east of Kingfisher, reported Friday that flags were torn from a fence at his residence Thursday night.
The vandals apparently were responding to the political messages of the signs, one a Trump 2020 flag and the other a “Thin Blue Line” flag expressing support for police.
“We support our president and law enforcement,” Marshall said. “I can’t believe this is even possible in Kingfisher.”
“We’re the parents of four boys – 10 months to 13 years – and it concerns us that this happened at our residence; we’re off the beaten path so they must have been looking for them,” he added.
Although there were posts on social media of Trump flags torn or cut down elsewhere in Kingfisher, Police Chief David Catron said no reports had been filed at his office as of Friday morning.
