The Kingfisher County Extension will begin an exercise program on walking next month.

The “Walking With Ease” program will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, at the Kingfisher County Fairgrounds Exhibit Building. It will continue each Tuesday and Thursday at the same time.

Participants can join the class at any date.

Participation is free.

“Walking with Ease provides participants with a group walking program where the individuals will walk the amount of time they are able,” said Lindy Hoel, Extension educator.

Learning opportunities will include:

• Easy stretches for arthritis;

• Increasing joint mobility;

• How to maintain a consistent exercise routine.
