Waukomis man seriously injured in auto accident west of Dover
A Waukomis man was listed in serious condition after suffering injuries in an accident west of Dover early Wednesday morning.
According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Isaiah Thomas Forbes, 30, crashed a 2000 Toyota Tundra on County Road 730 at about 12:15 a.m.
The accident was a mile south and seven miles west of Dover, or about one-quarter mile west of County Road 2930.
The report said Forbes was driving east on CR 730 when his vehicle initially went off the right side of the road, then came back across it before exiting the left side.
The pickup-truck came to rest on its roof in a creek, the report said.
Forbes was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital Kingfisher and then by medical helicopter to Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
He was being treated for head injuries, according to the report.
The report also stated it was unknown if Forbes was wearing a seatbelt.
