The wheels of the chamber go round and round . . .

By

Kingfisher Chamber of Commerce Manager Shauna Rupp, center, was the guest speaker of the Kingfisher Rotary Club last Tuesday. The focus of her talk was comparing a successful chamber of commerce to an automobile tire, with the chamber of commerce being the hub, the chamber directors being the lug nuts, the chamber members being the rim, and the community at large being the actual tire. Rupp, who began her job as chamber manager in February, told Rotarians and guests that her emphasis was to give a “meaningful return on the investment” to chamber members each year. Rupp also distributed a flyer featuring all chamber activities planned for this year. She was introduced by Rotarian and chamber board member Jenny Nusz, right. Also on hand for the presentation was Rotarian and chamber board member Brian Henderson, left. [KT&FP Staff Photo]
