Cimarron Electric Cooperative announced its 2020 Youth Tour Video Contest, the grand prize being a free trip to Washington, D.C..

The top three finalists will tour historic sites and national landmarks, meet Oklahoma’s congressional delegation, make new friends and more.

Seven other finalists will win cash prizes.

“Winners from previous years describe the experience as the trip of a lifetime,” Cimarron Chief Operating Officer Jeff Hyatt said.

Students will travel with more than 70 other students representing Oklahoma as part of the Oklahoma Delegation. Juniors in the Cimarron Electric Cooperative service area can submit a 2-3 minute video explaining how Cimarron Electric is different than other electric utilities.

“This is an amazing opportunity to win a free trip during your summer vacation and add something interesting to your college applications,” Hyatt said.
