Beverly Jo Hubbard was born Oct. 12, 1936, in Comanche to John and Pauline Nicklas.
She lived most of her life in Kingfisher as a newspaper wife and homemaker.
She went to be with her Lord peacefully at home the morning of Friday, Oct. 18, 2019, at the age of 83.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack Hubbard, daughter Lorri Hubbard, brother Thomas Nicklas and son-in-law Russell Shields.
She is survived by her daughter, Christy Shields; sons, Brad Hubbard and Matthew Hubbard; grandchildren, Sheila Franklin Shields, Patricia Shields, Jackie Warman, Christopher Shields and Whitney Shields; five great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and very special friend, Karen Hall.
Offerings can be made to Frontline Ministries to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, give the water of life to the thirsty and love the unlovely: “When you have done this to the least of these you have done it unto Me.”
A celebration of Beverly’s life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Kingfisher Church of the Nazarene.
