    Bradley Allen Schoelen

Bradley Allen Schoelen, known to friends and family as “Stretch,” died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019. He was 46 years old.

Brad was a jack of all trades and loved construction, oilfield work and his time driving a semi-truck across the country.

He was especially fond of his work in Wyoming at the surface mines.

He had a love of karaoke, playing pool, hunting, bass fishing and boating. He also had a lifelong love of ATV’s, often riding at Little Sahara.

He was a huge fan of OU football and his chocolate lab, Boomer.

Brad filled a room with both his stature and personality; you could not miss him.

His great passion allowed him to love deeply. It also opened his heart to deep sorrow.

Brad struggled with depression and substance abuse that he was ultimately unable to overcome and he chose to end his life at his home in Kingfisher.

Brad is survived by his daughters Lauren Ashleigh of Springfield, Mo., and Alexa Brooke of Tuttle; parents Norman Edward Schoelen of Kingfisher and Anna Marie Lee of Eureka Springs, Ark.; and sister Lisa Marie Schoelen of Oklahoma City, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Edward and Edna Schoelen, Fred “Fritz” and Anna Lue Hoffman.

His life will be celebrated at a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at First Baptist Church in Kingfisher, 1340 S. 13th Street.

Memorial donations in memory of Brad can be made to P.O. Box 1272, Kingfisher, OK 73750.
