Brandi Lyn Byrum of Dover was born Aug. 11, 1978, to Carl and Connie (Ingle) Byrum.

She departed this life unexpectedly on Feb. 8, 2021, due to an auto accident at the of 42.

A 1996 graduate of Dover High School, Brandi went on to obtain her LPN certification from Autry Technology Center in 2002.

Known for her sweet nature and big heart, Brandi was always one to care more for others than herself, as she served countless residents at care centers in Kingfisher, Enid, Oklahoma City and, until her death, at the Center of Family Love in Okarche.

Brandi is survived by her only sister, Robyn Byrum, of the home; her devoted father Carl Byrum and wife Jean of Enid; uncle Jerald Byrum and wife Joye of Shawnee; uncle Gary Byrum and wife Donna of Enid; aunt Cleda Byrum of Maude and uncle Steve Byrum of Maude; cousins Naomi Byrum and family, Heather Deleon and family, and Marie Byrum, all of Shawnee, Jody Noelle and Mindy Byrum of Wewoka.

On her mother’s side, Brandi is survived by her uncle Ron Ingle and wife Denise of Dover; cousins Jeremy Ingle and family of Dover, Chris Ingle of Pauls Valley, and Rachel (Ingle) Hladik and family of Loyal.

She was preceded in death by her mother Connie Byrum and maternal grandparents Beryl and Ruth Ingle, and paternal grandparents Jerald and Lela Byrum.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at Dover School in order to allow for those who wish to social distance. Urn burial will follow at Dover Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Center of Family Love, or become an organ and tissue donor.
