Charles Wayne Branson, 61, Kingfisher, died March 20, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Kingfisher.

Charlie was born June 7, 1959, to Melvin Paul and Bernita Eva Moore Branson in Kingfisher.

He moved with his family to the Kingfisher area when he was a child where he attended middle school and high school.

Charlie married Victoria Lee Garmon on Sept. 2, 1988. Together they raised three children: Kelly, Cherie and Chad.

Charlie enjoyed spending time outdoors with his family and friends throughout his lifetime.

As a child he enjoyed spending time on the family farm with his sisters and cousins, going for nature walks, catching snakes and fishing.

As an adult, he enjoyed gardening with his wife, raising animals and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Charlie worked as along haul truck driver to provide for his family for many years. He spent the last several years of his life helping to care for his parents.

He is survived by his wife Victoria; daughters Kelly and husband Gage Coldwater of Wewoka and Cherie and husband Luke Lemke of Kingfisher; son Chad Branson of Kingfisher; sisters Sylvia Bernhardt and Debra Henderson, both of Kingfisher; six grandchildren, Aurora and Pike Coldwater of Wewoka, and Eli, Eian, Evalyn and Eleanor Lemke of Kingfisher; nephews Donnie Bernhardt and Mitch and Lane Henderson, all of Kingfisher. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gaylen Paul Branson and nephew Brock Bernhardt

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 25, at Sanders Funeral Service, 124 E. Broadway, Kingfisher.
