    VETERAN — Charles Webster

Charles Edward Webster was born Nov. 7, 1927, to Charley and Josephine Webster in Dover and passed away May 11, 2020, in Oklahoma City.

Charles married the love of his life, Wanda Huff, on Oct. 17, 1950, and together they had two children.

Charles served in the United States Navy and worked at Rock Island Railroad as an engineer until his retirement.

During his retirement he was a member of Narve.

He was a man of many trades and enjoyed working on different projects. Charles enjoyed being outdoors, camping and hunting. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife Wanda C. Webster; his parents Charley and Josephine Webster; sisters Margaret Moore and Edna L. Ozmun; brothers John W. Webster and Robert D. Webster.

Survivors include his son Eddie Webster of Oklahoma City; daughter Kira Dutcher and husband Steve of El Reno; grandson Zach Dutcher of El Reno; grandson Joshua Dutcher and wife Chloe of Yukon; great-grandson Art Dutcher of Yukon; brother Harold Webster and wife Charlotte of Yukon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Charles will be held at Wilson Funeral Home in El Reno from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 16, and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 17.

A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 18, at the El Reno Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
