Clifford Leroy Willson gently passed from this life Feb. 18, 2021. Clifford was born May 23, 1942, to Orville Alton Willson and Elizabeth Madeline Campbell.

Clifford was raised on a farm west of Dover.

Clifford attended and graduated from high school in Dover.

He enlisted in the Navy on Sept. 18, 1961.

He took advantage of educational opportunities and after honorable discharge on Sept. 18, 1967, Clifford sought employment in the field of aircraft draftsman.

He went to work for Beech Aircraft and also worked at Hawker Beech of Raytheon Aviation.

Raytheon Aircraft recognized him in November 2004 as a Six Sigma Specialist.

Upon his retirement, Clifford moved back to his home place in Dover.

Over the years he developed a love of the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also shot trap and was a competitive shooter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Vila Randall and Joeann Kelley and a niece, Kathryn.

He is survived by nieces Linda Gould, Patricia Shah and Karen Sanders; nephews Danny Randall, Robert Randall and Patrick Kelley; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

A gentle heart has begun to rest and will be greatly missed.

A graveside service was 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at New Home Cemetery.
