Dustin Lee Cranford was born Oct. 31, 1974, in Ponca City to Wayne and Sue (Kelly) Cranford.

He died Monday, Oct. 19, 2020, at Mercy Hospital Kingfisher at the age of 45.

Services were Friday, Oct. 23, at Dover Christian Church with Jimmy Berkenbile officiating and under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.

Burial followed at New Home Cemetery.

Dustin attended Ponca City Public Schools before moving to Dover where he graduated from Dover High School in 1992.

He married Trilla Guinn on May 23, 1992, in Kingfisher.

They had three children: Britny, Makaly and Cooper.

Dustin started a career at Coca-Cola in Ponca City and then in Stillwater. He also worked in law enforcement for the Tonkawa Police Department and the Payne County Sheriff’s Department.

From there he went to work for Conoco-Phillips as a pipeline controller in Ponca City before being transferred to Bartlesville.

Dustin moved to Dover where he worked on his inlaw’s farm until his passing.

His family was his pride and joy. He loved spending time outdoors working cattle, fishing, hunting or helping his son with the show pigs.

He is survived by his wife Trilla of the home; daughters Britny Cranford of Ponca City and Makaly Cranford of Dover; son Cooper Cranford of Dover; grandson Gunner Horne of Ponca City; parents Wayne and Sue Cranford of Ponca City; brother Darrin Cranford and wife Suzette of Oklahoma City; mother-in-law Ruthie Bilderback of Guthrie; brother-in-law Nathan Guinn and wife Stephanie of Dover; sisters-in-law Blair Alexander and husband Brendan of North Lake, Texas, and Tammy Gallo and husband David of Dover; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by father-in-law Gene Guinn, father-in-law Jim Bilderback, nephew Donnie Guinn, grandparents Grover and Florence Kelly and grandparents Glenn and Katherine Cranford.

Memorials can be made in Dustin’s name to the Dover FFA.
