Elaine Ann Richardson, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on April 3, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories with those who knew and loved her.

Elaine was born Feb. 13, 1961, in Erick to Ervin and Janet Young. She spent her early years attending Big 4 Elementary School and later graduated from Kingfi sher High School with the Class of 1979.

During her school years, she was actively involved in FFA, where she built lasting friendships and developed a strong work ethic that stayed with her throughout her life.

On March 24, 1979, Elaine married the love of her life, Bobby Richardson. Together, they built a life centered around family, love and shared experiences.

Elaine dedicated part of her career to serving her community, working at Kingfisher Public Schools and later at Pioneer Telephone Cooperative. She was known for her reliability, kindness and the relationships she built with coworkers and those she served.

She was also an active lifelong member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, where her faith was an important part of her life.

Elaine found great joy in the outdoors and in spending time with those she loved most. She enjoyed snow skiing, water skiing, going to the lake and baking.

Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving mother, Janet Young; her sisters, Janiece Rosetti and Elise Kochenower; her four children, Bobby Richardson Jr., Erin, James and Eric; and her 12 grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Elaine was preceded in death by her father, Ervin Young, and her husband, Bobby Richardson.

She will be remembered for her love of family, her warm spirit and the lasting impact she made on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Donations in her name can be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 124 W. Douglas Ave., Kingfisher, OK 73750.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 9, at Kingfisher Emmanuel Lutheran Church with burial to follow at Kingfisher Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
