Kathy played for countless weddings and funerals, bringing joy and comfort to many families.

She studied music at Oklahoma State University and later received her bachelor’s degree in pastoral ministries from Newman University.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and served the parish in many capacities: As administrative assistant for both the church and school, director of both RCIA and religious education, choir director and organist, and member of the Altar Society and Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

Kathy also taught music and religion at Holy Trinity Catholic School.

On July 29, 1977, Kathy married Randall Vogt in Kingfisher. Randy survives her.

Kathy is also survived by their children and spouses, Michael and Terri Vogt of Altona, William and Kaci Vogt of Perkins, Brianna and Erik Dunham of Longview, Texas, Dianna and Brenden Osborn of Okarche, Vanessa and Kenny England of Okarche, and Thomas and Keely Vogt, also of Okarche; sister, Juliann Ramer of Omega; and 16 grandchildren, Madelein, Garrett, Azja, Jacob, Arron, Jade, Katelyn, Samantha, Ari, Augustus, William, Adelaide, Randall, Emmalene, Rosaleen and Zenon.

Memorials in Kathy’s name may be made to the Holy Trinity Parents’ Association or Stephenson Cancer Center.

“She lived her life with music in her heart and wishes you to do the same.”
