Kenneth “Kenny” Eugene Stoner of Okarche was born Dec. 25, 1980, in Honolulu, Hawaii, and departed this life Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at the age of 38.

Kenny grew up in the Oklahoma City area. After graduating from Putnam City West High School, he attended Vatterott College.

Kenny married the love of his life, Emily Klinnert, on June 23, 2005, in Norman. To this union two children, Dustin (Dusty) and Cody, were born. They resided in Moore for 11 years before settling in Okarche in 2014.

Kenny spent his nearly two-decade career in the metal building industry working at Star Building Systems where he formed treasured, lifelong friendships with builders and coworkers.

Kenny was a devoted husband and father who loved playing board games and spending quality time with his family. He also enjoyed watching Thunder basketball and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

The first to offer a helping hand, Kenny was a generous free spirit with a contagious smile and unmistakable laugh.

Kenny is survived by his wife Emily and son Cody of the home; his parents Mike Conley and Violet Mast of Oklahoma City; grandma Glenda Conley of McLoud, and great-grandma Beulah Ehlert of Thorp, Wisc.

Kenny is also survived by his father Tom (Carol) Stoner of Acworth, Ga.; brothers Wes (Jessica) Stoner of Fort Riley, Kan., and Brandon Stoner and Dillon (Mahria) Stoner of Acworth, Ga.; grandma Ann Basinger of Leoma, Tenn.; grandpa Donald Stoner of Biloxi, Miss.; parents-in-law Steve and Rose Klinnert of Okarche; brother-in-law Randall (Megan) Klinnert of Okarche; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Kenny was preceded in death by his beloved son Dusty, grandparents Loren and Judith Mast, and grandpa Robert Conley.

A celebration of Kenny’s life will be officiated by Pastor David Hardin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, at Sanders Funeral Service Chapel in Kingfisher with burial to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Okarche.

Memorial donations may be made to Santa’s Toyland in memory of Kenny Stoner, PO Box 118, 102 W. Coronado, Kingfisher, OK 73750.
