Mary Dalrymple

Mary Louise Dalrymple, 98, passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020, at Cimarron Nursing Center in Kingfisher.

Mary was born in Sallisaw on Sept. 23, 1922, to Walter and Rose Goodwin.

She graduated from Sallisaw High School in 1940.

She joined the U.S. Navy and earned a bachelor’s degree.

After moving back to Oklahoma, Mary met Paul Dalrymple in 1949. They married shortly after and had three children.

After living in Oklahoma City and Del City, she settled down in Kingfisher in 1969. Paul passed in 1973 at an early age.

Mary went to work at Pioneer Telephone and retired in 1987.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and a brother.

She is survived by her three children, Paul Dalrymple, Kathy Godard and husband Glen, and Pat Dalrymple.

Private graveside services were Friday, Dec. 18, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Edmond under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
