Molena Stumpf

Molena Lee Stumpf went to join her beloved husband and walk alongside her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 29, 2026.

Molena was born on Aug. 11, 1935, to Floyd and Nellie Glazier. She grew up in Loyal where she graduated from Loyal High School in May 1954.

After graduation, Molena moved to Kingfisher where she worked and lived with her grandparents while beginning the next chapter of her life.

During her high school years, Molena met Curtis Martin Stumpf – the love of her life. Their relationship grew into a deep and lasting partnership and they were married on Dec. 12, 1955.

The love Molena had for Curtis was something special and not often seen. It was steady, selfless and unwavering.

While Molena worked and contributed in many ways, her greatest priority was always being a wonderful wife and true partner to Curtis. Together, they built a life rooted in commitment, loyalty and love.

Life together for Curtis and Molena often centered around camping and fishing. These were not occasional pastimes, but a meaningful part of the life they shared.

They spent countless hours camping and fishing side by side, creating memories that were simple, unhurried and full of joy. These moments were often shared with their daughters and grandsons and they became some of the most cherished times for their family.

In 1958, Curtis and Molena moved to Drummond where they formed lifelong friendships. In 1969, they returned to Kingfisher where they spent the remainder of their lives together.

Molena worked for many years before retiring in 1984, but no matter the season of life, family always came first.

Above all else, Molena was a devoted wife, a loving mother and an extraordinary grandmother. Her life revolved around caring for others. She was supportive, nurturing and endlessly loving, always placing the needs of her family ahead of her own.

As a grandmother, she was gentle, encouraging and proud. Her love was constant and reassuring and each of her grandchildren knew without question how deeply they were loved.

Molena is survived by her two daughters, Mary Kaye and husband Mike Henson of Kingfisher and Patricia and husband Sidney Smith of Kingfisher; her three grandsons, John Staude of Perkins, Bryan and wife Jenne Pool of Orlando and Jay and wife Kathryn Staude of Overland Park, Kan.

Also her great-grandchildren, Kaydence and Analie Staude; Daegan, Maison, and Emersan Pool; and Jaxon Staude. She is also survived by her siblings, Kenneth Glazier, Connie Boeckman, Betty Bates, Donna Sebranek and Floyd Glazier.

Molena was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Martin Stumpf; her parents, Floyd and Nellie Glazier; and her brother, Danny Glazier.

Molena’s life was defined by quiet strength, devotion and love — love for her husband, her family and the life they built together. That love will continue to live on through the generations she helped shape.

A graveside service to honor the life of Molena will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 2, at the Kingfisher Cemetery.

Viewing will be held at Wilson Funeral Home-Kingfisher from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 1 with family present to greet friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
