Paul Bruce Hill of Edmond went to be with his loving savior on Jan. 4, 2020. He was 75 years of age.

Paul Bruce was born Nov. 19, 1944, in Enid to Alfred and Irma Hill.

He was a graduate of Enid High School’s class of 1963.

He was married to the love of his life, Jane Lorree Hoskins, on Aug. 6, 1966, and the couple had two children, Shannon and Craig.

He was a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma (1968) with a degree in industrial arts and enjoyed woodworking and iron working.

He was a farmer and rancher for many years in Kingfisher County until 1986 when the family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas, where he took a job in insurance.

Bruce finished his working years as an associate of United Ag Corporation of El Campo, Texas, a town and state that he dearly loved. He was a loyal and active member of the Alcoholics Anonymous 5 a.m. May Club, a group that he was deeply thankful for and through which he made many dear friends.

He is survived by his spouse Jane Hill, his daughter Shannon Campbell of Edmond, and son Craig Hill and daughter-in-law Becca Hill of Punta Gorda, Fla.

He had seven grandchildren: Emily Campbell, Zoe Campbell, Kelly Campbell, Molly Hill, Madeline Hill, Steele Hill and Stephanie Hill. He also had one great-grandchild, Anna Beth Hill.

He is further survived by many friends and cousins.
