The celebration of life for Rick Joe Failing, 60, of Hennessey was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2019, in Enid.

Rick was born Nov. 29, 1958 in Ponca City, to Leo and Ramona (Lawson) Failing and died unexpectedly in his home in Hennessey on Sunday, March 3.

He graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1977. He worked with ONG for over 20 years. He later worked with Seaboard in Hennessey for 11 years.

Survivors include his fianceé, Tammy Ream of the home; daughters, Lynda Skrdla and Serah Watson, both of Enid; Mariah Failing and Trysta Henderson, both of Hennessey; three step-children, Laci, Tanner, and Preslee; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Cheryl Paech and Millie Failing and brother, Leo Failing.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant “Baby Failing”.
