    Samuel ‘Sam’ Forman

Samuel Allen Forman, 31, was born on Sept. 18, 1988, and got his “Angel Wings” too soon, passing away Aug. 7, 2020, at his home in Huntington Beach, Calif., due to complications from COVID-19 he’d already beat.

Samuel was born and raised in Kingfisher and had three older brothers and two sisters.

“Sam” - as he was called - graduated from Kingfisher Public Schools in 2007 then attended the University of Central Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University.

Most recently, he obtained his insurance license and worked full-time for a State Farm agency in Huntington Beach while working at Trader Joe’s in the same area.

He enjoyed his “Trader Joe’s family” and valued spending time with them plus his extended family, including his roommates Wren and Josh whom he loved like brothers.

Sam had an abundant faith in his Lord Jesus Christ and freely shared how his faith guided his life through all his ups and downs, knowing God was always by his side.

Wow – how we’ll all miss Sam’s awesome smile, “Big Blue eyes,” contagious energy, uplifting sprit, kind words, big hugs and his encouragement to all he came in contact with and he will always be fondly remembered in our hearts until we meet again in Heaven.

From his youngest days, Sam so loved the “family farm” – riding four-wheelers, fishing, hunting, camping with family and his brothers Stephen, Corby and Eric.

Sam expertly operated about every piece of farm equipment we had, plus he always loved going to OSU football games with his family and friends.

He loved his Cub Scouting time camping with his brother Eric, lifelong friends and his Scout leader dad. Plus each year he especially enjoyed making his race “winning” Derby cars with his dad and Eric.

Sam loved music and was recently learning to play the guitar. Over time, his roommates Wren and Josh even started to enjoy it.

His musical interest began at an early age as his mother often shared classics like the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

And Sam enjoyed cooking with his mother when ever she came to visit.

As all who knew him, he certainly liked to keep in shape so Sam and his sister Alex regularly shared workout routines and healthy meal planning ideas.

Wren and Josh so loved and came to look forward to Sam’s grilling and healthy cooking.

Sam was preceded in death by his grandma Rita and grandpa Stanley Forman and his grandmother Faye and grandfather Sam Weatherford.

He is survived by his father Stephen R. Forman and his loving wife Lou Ann (Mama Lou to Sam); his loving mother Debra and husband Chuck Baldwin; brother Stephen J. Forman and wife Nichole; brother Corby Forman and wife Christina; brother Eric Forman and wife Paola; sister Alex Veenker; sister Shannon Levy and husband Neil; two uncles and one aunt; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members and relatives too numerous to mention (the Wittrock clan of his grand mother Rita, for example).

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday Aug. 27, at Sanders Funeral Service in Kingfisher.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at First Baptist Church of Kingfisher. Interment will follow at the Cashion Cemetery. Services are handled by Sanders Funeral Service.
