Sarah Neva Winter, 69, passed from this life on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020, in Oklahoma City.

She was born Jan. 17, 1951, in Spokane, Wash., and was then adopted by Toby and Neva Cuff.

Sarah and Rickie Winter were married Jan. 13, 1986, in Watonga and lived in the Homestead-Okeene area.

Sarah had worked at the Mini-Mart in Fairview at one time.

The “job” she most liked to do was that of being the “Ice Cream Lady” at Okeene School. Then she would read to the elementary students after school.

Sarah was preceded in death by her daughter, Stormie, and her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Rickie Winter of Okeene; her son, Lee Kincheloe of Enid; son and daughterin-law, Bart and Nicole Kincheloe of Kingfisher; son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Misty Kincheloe of Kingfisher; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Nathan Billings of Seiling; daughter, Katherine Winter of Kingfisher; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Danielle Winter of Okeene.

Also, grandchildren, Dakota, Dalton and Destiny Kincheloe; Kristen and Lori Kincheloe; Jessica Kincheloe; Rebecca, Johnny, Hannah and Jake Billings; Paige Carson and Adilyn Ince; Brandon, Brendon, Tressie and Alexandria Winter; and great-grandchildren, Isabella Kincheloe and Madelyn Keener. Graveside service for Sarah will be 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at Roselawn Cemetery east of Okeene. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Okeene.

Public viewing was 3:30- 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Okeene Elementary School or Okeene Child Study Club through the funeral home.
