Memorial service for Sylvia Mae Wymore, 82, Hennessey, is 1 p.m. Friday March 1, at First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Chris Gordon.

A private family interment will precede the service. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Sylvia was born Jan. 31, 1937, at Reydon to George William and Myrtle Mae Wood Copeland and died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, at Hennessey Care Center.

Sylvia married Delano Wymore at the “Marryin’ Tree” at the Kingfisher and Garfield County line on March 8, 1957. She was a founding member of 132 Bible Church.

Sylvia is survived by two daughters, Brenda Vanderhoff and Carla Hochstrasser; three sons, Darrell Wymore and wife Lori, Dennis Wymore and wife Teresa, all of Hennessey, and Danny Wymore and wife Jennifer of Ames; grandson Jeremy Wymore, who Sylvia raised, and his wife Tara; four brothers James Copeland of Ponca City, Tommy Copeland of Hennessey, Donnie Copeland of Enid, William Copeland of Pittsburgh, Kan.; one brother-in-law, Fred Cain and wife Melody; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, one sister, one grandson, one great-granddaughter, one son-in-law and one daughter-in-law.
