2020: Year of the political heist
The year 2020 is coining to a close.
It has been the epitome of “interesting times.” An old curse goes “may you live in interesting times.”
We started the year with a booming economy thanks to the policies initiated by President Donald Trump, allowing the nation to recover from the malaise created by the eight year Barack Obama (president)-Joe Biden (vice-president) administration.
Then the corona virus released by China created a pandemic, destroying the economic gains that had been made and serving as an excuse for power-driven leftists in heavily-populated cities and states to shut them down, forcing businesses and other public gathering places, including churches, to close.
Shortly thereafter primary elections began to select candidates for the office of president.
During President Trump’s stellar term in which economic gains were made and a weak foreign policy by the Obama-Biden regime - which put America last - the president initiated new trade programs which revived the nation’s industries as well as small businesses. Conservatives felt confident that President Trump had earned re-election.
Enter the Democratic Party-major media-Deep State fusion.
Columnist Victor Davis Hanson explains it thusly:
“Once the last of the other Democratic primary candidates dropped out and Biden was nominated, all prior negative media stories about his apparent cognitive decline and his family’s financial entanglements disappeared.
“From April 2020 on, a virtual news blackout surrounded Biden. His rare interviews were scripted. Biden communiques were tele-prompted. Press conferences were either nonexistent or revolved around his favorite milkshake or his socks.
“Mentions of Hunter Biden’s business dealings in China and Ukraine were taboo. It was sinful to reference reports of a Hunter Biden email allegedly detailing a 10 % distribution of such revenue to the “Big Guy”—presumably Joe Biden.
“Unlike President Donald Trump, Joe Biden never really campaigned. After the primaries, he outsourced his fall 2020 campaign to subordinates and pet journalists to attack Trump.”
The media-deep state-social media coalition was already oiled and ready to attack, having spent four years opposing the president at every turn.
Trump’s wins came despite their constant harassment. Then came the elections and those same populous cities and states employed questionable voting machines that detractors say can be programmed to switch votes to preferred candidates.
The Trump campaign has cited computer-savvy sources in claiming that such vote switching occurred along with “mailed out and mailed-in votes,” that were responsible for Joe Biden’s purported victory of the presidency.
While Biden’s team has been making occasional releases of appointments of officials who would serve in his administration, Biden himself doesn’t indicate he is really serious about becoming president.
Could it be that he is afraid the facts about his media-called win will come out before the inauguration and will be overturned?
The Trump campaign has over the past seven weeks provided evidence alleging voting irregularities and fraud. The president told Americans that the campaign has shown that Democrats violated their own state laws by changing procedures ahead of the election without having gone through the state legislatures.
This year’s election has been a wake-up call for the Silent Majority that depend on a moral government to operate for the benefit of a moral populace as the constitution designed it to do
The Silent Majority rose up after the deplorable Jimmy Carter administration to elect Ronald Reagan, who was despised by the deep state as much as Trump is.
If Biden is actually seated as president, we predict that the Trump Administration will quickly become known as “the good old days.”
One thing seems certain, if Americans don’t take action in demanding that the election apparatus be fixed to provide honest elections in the future, our history as the fairest government ever created will be lost.
Once the evil minority is entrenched it will be virtually impossible to uproot it.
President Trump explains it:
“Americans must be able to have complete faith in the confidence of their elections. The fate of our democracy depends upon it.”
Although the future seems difficult, that’s the way it has always been.
The nation has faced challenges in the past but came together to save it.
It is never too late to pray for our nation and its leaders.
This is our wish for all: to have a healthy, happy, safe, and better year in 2021.
But be prepared for character-building difficulties.
