America’s Left really good at ‘hating’

It’s almost comic that President Trump has the left in such a dither, that it is revealing its real intentions. While attempting to appear as morally superior, the swamp dwellers accuse conservatives of the very things they are themselves guilty of, often hatred. But how can you blame them? It has worked for years, cowing domesticated conservatives who willingly acquiesced to their accusations that we are guilty … oh, of something, anything. President Donald Trump was elected primarily because he called them on their hypocrisy and battled them on their own terms. When the leftist hordes accused the president of treason because he openly said he would listen to anyone who offered him dirt on an opponent (and who wouldn’t?), he was immediately accused of treason by the hypocrites, backed up by the national media which marches in lockstep with the swamp dwellers. Sure, Trump is often unapologetically crude in his responses to the opponents, but politics has become less than a parlor pastime, as the left takes it as its duty to destroy what made America the land of opportunity. Opportunity to succeed on their merit is why so many settlers came here – to get away from the tyrants who ruined their original homelands. Now our elitist leaders point to those same places as what America should become. When three television networks dominated for years what passed as news coming from the capital, many people accepted what they heard. Now there are other sources of opposite opinion, no matter how hard the social media moguls attempt to prevent it. The Southern Poverty Law Center’s “haters list” has absolutely no effect on normal people. Leftist haters are far better at it than any whacked-out conservative could hope to be. For instance, during the Obama regime, did you ever hear of a mob of conservatives hectoring a left-wing politician in a restaurant? Americans gave President Trump 62,984,828 votes and the majority in 30 states in the 2016 election, meaning he won the Electoral College majority and the presidency. Now the losers are attempting to impeach the president on baseless accusations (proven false by their own special counsel after two years of investigation). Leftists can’t stand it that common sense solutions to problems have boosted the nation’s economy to highest levels in many years, like providing tax cuts, demanding fairer foreign trade policies, reducing regulation by the EPA and other swamp-borne diseases that allow independent businesses to succeed (including increasing numbers of minority businesses), reducing voter fraud, rebuilding our military so that it can defend Americans, protecting our borders from illegal infiltrators, appointing federal judges and justices who will follow the rule of law and the constitution, which they are sworn to defend. Anyone who has ever attended an elite university can immediately see the “wrongness” in such policies. Many Americans alive today grew up with the idea imprinted in their consciousness, “the world does not owe you a living –  you have to earn it.” In an attempt to flip the United States into a complete welfare-socialist state, more recent citizens have been fed the line that all their needs should be given them –  food, housing, health care … anything they want. They have been told doing away with the Electoral College, which would destroy the protections for less populous states, would provide the “woke” generation everything it needs. That mob rule system might work for a short time – until a majority decided to quit working and “other people’s money” quit flowing in to supply their wants. President Trump has pledged that the United States won’t become a socialist country on his watch. That’s a primary reason Washington insiders hate him so. The late English Prime Minister Winston Churchill had a theory about government. He said something like democracy is the worst kind of government, except everything else that has been tried. America’s founders, who were well versed in the complexities of governance based on their study of all types of government throughout history, attempted to create a system that would allow citizens to live free forever. Those who have lived in America up to now have been blessed. May our nation survive as a constitutional republic. People just wishing it won’t make it so. Citizens need to be aware of the challenges and act responsibly to keep freedom alive. The late President Ronald Reagan, who, it seems to us, prevented America from sliding into socialism at an earlier time, reminded that freedom is not passed on in the genes. Here are his words as provided by Action Institute as recorded at a rally in New York:

“Freedom is the right to question and change the established way of doing things. It is the continuing revolution of the marketplace. It is the understanding that allows us to recognize shortcomings and seek solutions. It is the right to put forth an idea, scoffed at by the experts, and watch it catch fire among the people. It is the right to dream — to follow your dream or stick to your conscience, even if you’re the only one in a sea of doubters. Freedom is the recognition that no single person, no single authority or government has a monopoly on the truth, but that every individual life is infinitely precious, that every one of us put on this world has been put there for a reason and has something to offer.

“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”

And then:

“If we lose freedom here, there is no place to escape to. This is the last stand on Earth.”
