Congress certified the election of Donald Trump as president and JD Vance as vice president last Monday.

There were no holdouts. Congress had no other options after President Trump won both the popular vote and the electoral vote in landslide fashion.

The Left had no other option. If it had not accepted the results of the election, the Supreme Court would have made quick work of an appeal.

Left Misses Its ‘Final Election’ Goal

The Lefties, who had banked on 2024 being the final election before they were in full control – full time – forgot one key phrase: “It’s The Economy, Stupid.”

President Joe Biden – or whoever made decisions for the failing old fellow – made a horrible mess of the American economy– and the U.S. itself – after being handed a winning hand four years previously.

Rather than accept the gift, the Biden team spent the first day in office undoing the Trump actions that had America moving forward after a disastrous 12 years under Biden and Biden’s president-boss, Barack Obama.

Not too surprisingly, the Democrat-Left cabal still hasn’t figured out what it did wrong.

Schumer Whines Voters Just Didn’t Understand For instance Senate President Charles Schumer complained that Americans just didn’t know what the Democrats had done for them during their time in the majority, implying the major media should spend full-time explaining it to them, as if they hadn’t for years.

The fact that the media has been so dishonest, including the failure to report Biden’s advancing dementia, calling him sharp as a tack and in splendid condition, explains why few people believe them on anything any more.

Here’s where Schumer is wrong. Voters knew exactly what the Biden regime had accomplished – record inflation that ate many normal citizens’ retirement incomes and made it difficult for many to buy groceries and fuel, severe foreign policy mistakes which has the world on the brink of World War III and millions of unvetted illegal aliens, mostly males of military age, who pose the threat of terrorist attacks from within (think New Orleans and Las Vegas during New Year’s and what that might portend).

Meanwhile Biden, or whoever, is using the final days of this administration to plant roadblocks to prevent recovery by President Trump weren’t satisfied with demeaning American citizens while in office but want to make it difficult for Trump to fix the mess they left.

Biden Cancels Offshore Oil Drilling Before Leaving One example is Biden issuing an executive order closing oil drilling offshore in America just days before he goes out, citing the “danger” of global warming as the excuse.

What nonsense; the Biden administration intended to scare citizens into compliance with its actions. There have been normal climate changes for thousands of years. In fact, the world might face another Ice Age before another warming spell. A “Little Ice Age” not so long ago forced Germany to become a beer-making region because it was no longer warm enough there to grow grapes for wine.

And I didn’t even mention that Biden, et al, weaponized the judicial department to attack its political opponents, (Trump and all conservatives).

Biden, with the help of megadonors such as Austrian- American billionaire George Soros, who he recently awarded a presidential freedom award apparently for creating discord and division in America, had already created extreme division in America.

Biden and the Democrats reaped the results they deserved. Star Parker Nails It

I liked what columnist Star Parker said on this subject: “Responsibility for this destructive mindset lies at the doorstep of Biden and his party. It is the Democratic Party that has fostered a culture, the antithesis of what America is about, that says that some do not have enough because others have too much. And that government should decide who has what and should use its political power to redistribute wealth.

“The eternal truths that define our nation are the rules of the game that give all better lives.

“Everyone seems to grasp this these days, except those leading the Democratic Party.”

Carter Funeral Held in Washington, DC

Former President Jimmy Carter’s six-day farewell to the nation culminated Thursday morning as the 39th president received a state funeral at Washington National Cathedral before returning to his hometown of Plains, Georgia, for burial beside his wife, Rosalynn.

During the service, Joe Biden eulogized Carter, saying that he was the first Senator to endorse Carter for president – basing it off Carter’s character and faith.

“Jimmy Carter’s friendship taught me, and through his life, taught me, that strength of character is more than title or the power we hold,” Biden said. “It’s the strength to understand that everyone should be treated with dignity, respect, that everyone, and I mean everyone, deserves an even shot.”

The procession for America’s longest-lived president was attended by all five living presidents, including President- elect Donald Trump.
