Deception: an act or statement which misleads, hides the truth, or promotes a belief, concept, or idea that is not true. It is often done for personal gain or advantage. Deception can involve dissimulation, propaganda, slight of hand, as well as distraction, camouflage or concealment.

Have to admit it. I did not watch the live debate between President Trump and Joe Biden. We took our dogs for a walk because I knew if I was at home that I would be drawn to the television. Mary kind of wanted to watch it. Not me.

I also must admit that I find myself cringing when I listen to President Trump sometimes. It’s not that I disagree with the job he’s doing, it’s just the way he says it. Oh, for the days of Ronald Reagan.

But what I really wanted to avoid was listening to Joe Biden attempting to mask the ultra-far left agenda that the behind the scene movers and shakers in the National Democratic Party have in store for us if Biden gets elected.

12 years ago Barack Hussein Obama told us his plan was to “fundamentally change America.” He softened us up to the idea of “progressive reform.” Then Trump’s surprise election interrupted that plan of socialist progression.

This emboldened new crew of radicals holding the reins of the party wants to “progress” us at warp speed into the grand new socialist state of Green New Deal “investing” of trillions of tax dollars, allowing Communist China to “have” Taiwan and its freedom-loving anti-communist citizens who are counting on our military presence to keep them free, and “sharing” our new welfare state with all non-citizens who wish to flood across our borders.

And that would only be the tip of the iceberg.

Have you had a chance yet to look over the 110-page document referred to by the Wall Street Journal as The Biden-Sanders Manifesto? WSJ goes on to inform us: “voters should examine how far left the former vice president has moved since winning the primaries.”

In my estimation, all any reasonable American voter need do is read it to realize that Bid en signed the official death warrant for his campaign. But, of course I don’t reside on the east or west coast, or any major university city you choose to mention coast to coast.

You don’t have to go far into it before you come across the job-killing $2 trillion climate agenda and the parts about dismantling our border protection.

It betrays the working-class voters Biden claims to represent and destroys any sane person’s view that Biden is moderate at any level.

Socialist Bernie Sanders and Biden brought together their combined “Unity Task Force” to draw up this document.

From what I can gather, it just means that old Joe’s body might still be there, but his soul is now the property of the radical and socialist left.

Feel free to go and look it up on-line. Anyway...back to the dog walk...I cheated and watched bits and pieces of the debate later that night. As much of it as I could stand anyway.

The one choice morsel that blared like loud trumpets in my brain was when Biden told us that the Antifa crews

that were organized and shipped into the riot cities across the nation earlier this year to murder, destroy and plunder, was not an organization, but rather an idea.

Oh my! Ideas don’t stockpile bricks in appointed areas, and then when the crew arrives at the appointed time, throw them at people and windows. Ideas don’t throw bags filled with human poop and urine at others who don't agree with their way of thinking. Ideas don’t burn down other people’s property. Ideas don’t loot. Ideas don’t plan and organize murder and mayhem.

But organized units of anarchists do those kind of things. That was enough for me. Biden also said he was the Democratic party. Really? I don’t think so Joe. Biden is the front man for the far-left socialists in control of the party, who are using him as the tool to get control of the White House.

If he wins the election, either fairly, or through skulduggery, I wonder if Joe realizes that his expiration date in regards to the folks that control the party will have expired.

Antifa: a person or group actively opposing fascism.

Funny how this deal has morphed. The "group" first came into the national spotlight...for me anyway...a few years back when a group of 100 or so Christian ministers in clerical garb, joined by angry Charlottesville, Virginia residents, peace advocates, and Black Lives Matter activists came together to protest the death of a 32-year-old woman, and the injury of 19 others when a 20-year-old Ohio man accelerated his car into a crowd of counter protesters at a “Unite the Right” rally.

Somehow or another, the “idea” turned into what now seems to be an organized group of violent anarchists intent of tearing down and destroying all things “traditional America.”

Gabriel Nadales is a former Antifa member who spoke with a reporter of the Sinclair Broadcast Group recently.

Nadales had this to say about Antifa: “I thought I was doing good by trying to fight what I thought was fascism. Today, I realize that Antifa is just a violent organization filled with a bunch of thugs that need to be put in jail.”

"You'll find a lot of the members may do it for animal rights or for anti-capitalism, pro-socialism. Personally, when I was in Antifa, a lot of the activism I did was for animal rights,” said Nadales.

“But once they come together in the Black Bloc and behind the black mask, they kind of forget all that. They go for the common goal of silencing whatever their opposition at the moment is and oftentimes, we’ve seen them silence people simply for political disagreements,” he added.

Now Trump Has The COVID-19 Virus

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I just saw a recent Gallup poll that came out last week: 56% of Americans believe the president will win in November. Only 40% said the same for Biden. In total, 90% of Republicans and 56% of Independents predicted a Trump victory, compared to just 24% of Democrats.

I have seen lots of polls, but this is the only one that makes sense to me. We saw much of the same back in 2016. Seems the pollsters can phrase the questions to get the responses they want.

Regardless, we're going to find out soon. Much is on the line for us all.

With Trump now in quarantine, this can go two ways. The way I think it will play out is that he will be in quarantine for two weeks, doing business as usual, and then he will emerge from the White House with both guns blazin’ to finish the home stretch of campaigning with a high-energy country-crossing frenzy.

Or it will hit him hard, and all bets are off. Either way, it is going to be high drama. Never a dull moment with this guy.

I may not like the way he says it, but I like the way he does his job. 5:30 A.M.-it’s suit and tie on and out the door.
