It is fall and my fire alarms were all talking to me!

Our sons replaced all the fire alarms 7 1/2 years ago.

I’m not able to replace them myself and my nephew, Vince Mueggenborg, fireman, told me after Jim passed the fire department would replace them for me.

So when the alarm music began this Wednesday morning, I called the fire department at 8:30 a.m. and they said they would be at my house at 10 am.

I said, “today?” He said “yes.”

Anyway they came and replaced - four perfect gentlemen/ firemen.

We are so lucky to live in this wonderful hometown of Kingfisher and Kingfisher County.

We have wonderful firemen/women who give much more than they receive - so let’s all celebrate the men and women who go the extra mile like the Kingfi sher Fire Department.
